BEGINNER CLASSES: An Introduction to Scottish Country Dancing


Come & dance with us!  We offer 5 introductory classes for $25.00, so come give us a try!
Scottish Country Dance Classes start in Sept 2023. 
Beginners Welcome, No partner needed!  Join us for fun, fitness & friendship!

  • Sept. 6 2023. Membership form 

Beginner Class Dates & Location: 

  • Melrose United Church, 86 Homewood Ave., Hamilton,  Wednesday evenings starting Sept. 13, 2023, 7:30-9:30

All dancers attending must 

  1. fill out and bring a class registration form (unless already submitted) 

    -  We will have Class Registration and Dancers Agreement forms available.

Level 1 - Beginners:
The main purpose is to have fun while learning the basic steps and technique of Scottish Country Dancing.

The most common steps and formations are taught and these are put into dances.  Dancing as much as

possible while learning is the focus and there is much repetition.
